Event DescriptionSquirt's Hockey Is Here ...
The Monroe Twp. Roller Hockey League has announced that open registration
has begun for our upcoming Squirt's Fall 2002 season and is open to all Monroe Twp. boys and girls ages 4 and 5 (as of 12/31/2002). The deadline for registrations is Sunday, September 22, 2002.
This season will be a continuation of our summer Squirt's clinic and will feature the addition of skates to our future hockey players. Players will be shown the basics of roller hockey as well as participate in a Scrimage amongst each other every week.
The Squirt's Fall 2002 season will be played on Saturday afternoons from 1PM to 2:15 PM, from September 28th through October 26th. The cost is $20 for the first player and $15 for each additional player per family (payable to Monroe Twp. Roller Hockey).
The following equipment is REQUIRED to be worn in order for your child(ren) to participate:
- Mouthpiece (goalies are an exception)
- A helmet with a full cage or full visor
- Hockey gloves
- Hockey shin guards
- Elbow pads
- Roller skates (in-line or quads)
- Hockey stick with wooden blade (shaft of stick may be wood, graphite, etc..., plastic sticks or blades are not allowed)
- Hockey shoulder pads
- athletic cup (boys only)
The registration money will be collected by the coach of your child's team. Please be sure to write your confirmation number on your check. Also please be sure to hand in your registration fee to the coach PRIOR to the first game of the season. Failure to do so will make you child(ren) ineligible to participate until payment has been received.
